Will my parent feel comfortable with an AI calling them?

Many older adults do! The calls are designed to feel warm and natural. Your loved one knows they're speaking with AI—we're always transparent. And the conversation is genuinely helpful: it's a chance to check in, get reminders, and feel cared for. Many people look forward to it.

What if my parent refuses the call or doesn't answer?

That's okay. We send a reminder, and you're notified. If there's a pattern, we can discuss it with you and adjust. Kinviva Care is a supportive tool, not a surveillance system. It respects your loved one's autonomy while keeping you informed.

Is my parent's information private?

Yes. Privacy is built into Kinviva Care from the ground up. We collect only what's necessary to provide check-ins and reminders. All data is protected, and you control who has access to information about your loved one.

What happens if my parent tells Kinviva Care they're in pain or having a medical emergency?

We take this seriously. Kinviva Care will recognize serious concerns and immediately alert you and suggest calling 911 if needed. However, Kinviva Care is not an emergency service. If your parent is in crisis, they should always call 911 directly.

Can I customize the check-in times and reminders?

Yes. We'll work with you to set up a schedule that fits your loved one's routine. Morning, afternoon, evening—you decide. And you can add custom reminders for medications, appointments, or anything else.

What if my parent has cognitive decline or hearing loss?

Kinviva Care is designed to be flexible. We can adjust call speed, volume, and conversation complexity. If there are barriers, we'll work with you to find a solution. Not everyone is a fit, and that's okay—we'll be honest about it.
